Rizalina C. Calderon, DHum, DELMMa'am Riza
Principal / OwnerRizalina Calderon, Doctor of Humanities and Doctor of Educational Leadership and Management, is the founding Directress. She taught 4th-year high school at Manila public schools for ten years. She is a Bachelor of Science in Elementary & Secondary Education (BSESE) cum laude graduate from Philippine Normal College (PNC), currently Philippine Normal University (PNU). She took a Masters in Linguistics, and a Graduate Certificate in Preschool Education, all from PNC. She is a former stage director and actress, a scriptwriter who envisioned creating a school that has actualized her contribution, expertise, talents, and energies in the academics and theatre arts.
Dr. Riza's expertise in Preschool to High school education, backed by her credentials and 37 years of experience in the academe (including 10 years in the public school sector), has been proven and tested since the establishment of our school in 1995. |

Victor Dominic C. CalderonTeacher Dom
Executive DirectorSir Dom is a Philippine Normal University-Manila (PNU) Bachelor in English Education with a Specialization in Senior High School pioneer graduate under the Outcomes-Based Teacher Education Curriculum (OBTEC), which is only offered at PNU. He gained 258 units, equivalent to 83 subjects, including all K–12 subjects.
He is finishing his thesis as he has passed the thesis qualifying exam and earned all the units of the Masters in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction at PNU. In his college years, his leadership shone as he was elected president of the PNU Student Government. To this day, his decisiveness and leadership continue to shine in SMIS. He completed the one-week on-site 2018 Early Childhood Seminar Series at Auckland University in New Zealand. He ensures that the school administration crafts policies and improves its academic and non-academic services based on the needs and demands of all school stakeholders. |
International Diploma - Continuing Education
In November 2021, Dr. Riza, Dr. Noli, and Sir Dom completed the eight-week-long Advanced Research international diploma course from Leadership in Education Academy and Development (LEAD) - Philippines and Saint James University in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, USA.
Dr. Riza also completed the Educational Leadership and Management diploma course at the same educational institutions in May 2022.
Ma'am Riza, Sir Noli, and Sir Dom have also completed the Guidance and Counseling, and Special Education diploma course in May 2023.
International Speakers - Owners going worldwide
Our Vice-Principal Dr. Noli Calderon was invited by the International Internship University to speak on quality education.
The lecture titled "Is Ed Tech effective?" was given on September 24.
He shared St. Mark Integrated School - SMIS's successful use of online, onsite, and blended learning using modern educational technologies with educators globally.
In his last statement, he said schools' use of Educational Technology (Ed Tech) should depend on stakeholders' (students and parents) demands and instructors' effective education and usage of online and real learning platforms.
