Embedded Socialization Time Across Academic & Non-Academic Activities
At SMIS, socialization is a natural part of the learning experience. Whether through interactive discussions, group projects, or engaging class activities, Markians connect and collaborate with their peers daily. Within both academic and non-academic sessions, students in HOME+ and SCHOOL programs engage in meaningful exchanges that build confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of community—fostering both personal and academic growth.

Socialization Period is a set time for Markians to connect, interact, and develop friendships in a fun and inclusive setting. Through structured and free-form activities, students across HOME, HOME+, and SCHOOL engage in conversations, games, and collaborative tasks that strengthen their communication and social skills. Whether online or onsite, this dedicated period nurtures friendships and reinforces the importance of teamwork and positive social interaction.

SMIS is expanding student life with exciting, structured clubs that support creativity, leadership, and collaboration—both onsite and online! Starting S.Y. 2025-2026 and beyond, Markians can explore their passions, develop skills, and build friendships through our Arts, Glee, Sports, Science, and Student Council Clubs. Scouting Programs for Leadership and Life Skills
At St. Mark Integrated School (SMIS), the online and onsite Boy Scouts (BSP) and Girl Scouts (GSP) programs equip HOME, HOME+, and SCHOOL learners with leadership, teamwork, and life skills. Guided by certified facilitators, students engage in interactive online and onsite sessions that promote problem-solving, independence, and community service, with opportunities for academic and co-curricular recognition.
Daily Academic Consultation (for Students and Teachers), and Parent-Admin Consultation (for Parents and Administrators)
The teachers and administrators are available for consultation during the designated consultation period, through email and video conferencing. The school values the feedback of our stakeholders, we attend/resolve their concerns the soonest time possible.
Weekly Teacher-Admin-Parent (TAP) Conference
The TAP Conference is a weekly opportunity for parents, teachers, and administrators to collaborate on addressing student progress and needs. Sessions are conducted online, ensuring every parent can join conveniently, regardless of location. This initiative promotes open communication and partnership to support every Markian’s growth.
Live and Recorded Orientations
The first week of classes is Orientation Week for both parents and the students. The orientation covers how to navigate the LMS, netiquette, and school policies/guidelines.

Homeroom / Values formation
Provides our learners the opportunity to interact with each other in an environment that is safe and supportive. Students share their personal stories and insights about life in general. Teachers facilitate and process the conversation of the students.
